Intelligent Eco-Navigation: Enhancing Route Efficiency for a Greener Future

The thesis tackles how to choose driving routes that use less fuel and produce fewer emissions, without making trips much slower or harder to compute. It first reviews existing work on eco-friendly routing. Then it introduces a way to model how vehicles really move on roads (speeding up, slowing down, stopping) so fuel use can be estimated more accurately. Next, it presents a fast method to find good alternative routes and finally combines these ideas into a practical eco-routing framework.
