Fuzzy codes and occurrence data for intertidal species in Nova Scotia, Canada

Fuzzy codes and occurrence data for intertidal seaweeds and invertebrates found at three elevation zones (high, middle, and low) and at three levels of wave exposure (sheltered, intermediate, and exposed) in the summer of 2005 at Tor Bay Provincial Park, on the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. For each species and functional trait, the fuzzy code of each trait category indicates the relative affinity of the species for that category. Regarding species occurrence, presence is indicated as "X" and absence is indicated as "-".
