Stromal fibroblast cells were isolated from an unusually enlarged left-side ovary of a Holstein cow. Isolated stromal cells expressed several genes such as asporin and VCAM1 that are active in aggressive tumors. Several functional pathways were modulated especially sirutin signaling pathway, oxidative phosphorylation and mitochindrial dysfunction. RNA from normal and tumor ovarian stromal cells were processed for microarray analysis
