Inflammatory gene regulation by Cdc42 in bronchial epithelial cells

The goals of this study is to examine the role of Cdc42 signaling in airway epithelial cell inflammation.First we produced a transcriptome profile of bronchial epithelial cells (BEAS-2B) when stimulated with the pro-inflammatory stimulus, TNF-alpha. Then we examined alterations of the TNF-alpha induced transcriptome profile when Cdc42 is inhibited with the drug ML141. The transcriptome profile of BEAS-2B cells with Cdc42 inhibited was also produced.
