Points of Origin - McInnes et al

These data are the latitude and longitude for the points-of-origin of particles measured in sediment traps described in our paper. <br>10 files separated by sedimentation rate and location: global (10 m d^-1, 250 m d^-1); HOT (10, 25, 100, 250 m d^-1); BATS (10, 25, 100, 250 m d^-1)<br>Method: A fine-resolution 3D ocean circulation model and tracking tool were used to simulate the pathways of virtual particles sinking at different rates (10 - 250 m day-1) to individual sediment traps at 50 m above the ocean floor where the ocean was shallower than 2000 m, and at 2000 m elsewhere.
