Taalaccommodatie in online datingprofielen: Effecten van opleidingsniveau en type datingsite op taalgebruik

This study investigated language accommodation in online dating profiles. We compared language use in dating profiles of lower- and higher-educated online daters and language use of higher-educated daters from two different dating sites. We textually analyzed dating profiles and focused on three linguistic characteristics with different measures: lexical complexity, lexical diversity (in one dataset) and the amount of language errors made (the other dataset)
