A neural network solution for comprehensive contact analysis in hard-on-hard hip implants

FEM analyses were performed on hard-on-hard hip implant cup-head tribo-pair under different geometrical, operational and material parameters. Each row in the data set defines a sample and consists of 5 input parameters and 3 output parameters. This dataset was used to train and validate the ANN model. The complete FEM dataset and respective cases are reported as different sheets in the attached Excel file.
