Seismic Spectrograms and Q-Values of Traffic Signals, and HVSR Results from Ambient Noise at a Seismic Station in the Taklimakan Desert

This dataset is based on a temporary broadband seismic array (TASTE) deployed in the Tarim Basin.The TASTE array was operated from July 2017 to November 2019 by Institute of Geology and Geophysics (Zuo et al., 2022), Chinese Academy of Sciences. This dataset contains the time-frequency spectrograms, calculated Q-values, and HVSR results from station T12 of the TASTE network. Station T12, located at kilometer 60 along the Tazhong Highway, recorded numerous vehicle signals. We used individual time-frequency records to invert for changes in Q-values, with the spectrograms stored in the 'Spectrogram' folder and the Q-values stored in the 'Q-values' folder. Additionally, the HVSR variations over time were calculated from continuous seismic recordings and are stored in the 'HVSR' folder.
