Mechanical harvest of castor: data and pictures.

This is the raw data collected in an experiment for evaluation of the mechanical harvest of castor in 2023 and 2024 in Campo Novo do Parecis, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The study evaluated the seed yield of the the field, the seed loss in the harvesting operation of the header JLS Kascavel, and the quality of castor seed obtained. The quality of the seed was monitored along the day. A simple field test was employed to assess the adequate condition of the fruit for efficient harvest.
