Trail Mile Markers
收藏资源简介:
The Trail Mile Markers layer represents the mapped locations of mile marker reference points along designated trail corridors. Features in this dataset are stored as point geometries and indicate measured distance intervals along pedestrian, bicycle, or multi-use trails. Mile markers are typically placed at standardized increments (e.g., every 0.1 mile, 0.25 mile, 0.5 mile, or 1 mile) and serve as spatial reference points for navigation, maintenance, and emergency response. The dataset may include attributes such as trail name, mile value, segment identifier, installation date, maintenance responsibility, and related operational notes. These markers may correspond to physical signage installed along the trail or represent calculated GIS reference points derived from calibrated trail centerlines.
