This compressed folder contains two Excel files, "retraction time lag.xlsx" and "post-retraction citation.xlsx".<br><br>"retraction time lag.xlsx" constitutes the dataset of Research Question 1 in this study, aiming to investigate variations in retraction time lag among articles. The dataset encompasses fields including id, Pub_year, Retract_year, Retraction_time_lag, Gold_OA, Num_author, Journal_IF, Retraction_reason, Cit_before, Cit_retract_year.<br><br>"post-retraction citation.xlsx" serves as the foundation for Research Question 2 in this study, aiming to explore variations in citation changes after article retractions. The dataset encompasses fields such as OA_type (is_Gold_OA), is_retracted, Pub_year, Retract_year, Retraction_time_lag, Num_author, Journal_IF, Journal_name, Journal_id, Cit_before, Cit_retract_year, PCAC, PCIC, cem_strata, cem_weights, cem_matched. There are some missing data in PCAC and PCIC. This is partly due to a division by zero, and partly because our citation dataset goes up to 2021, preventing the calculation of PCAC and PCIC for the most recently retracted articles. For the purpose of this research, samples with a cem_matched value of 1 have been selected for analysis.
