Transcriptome-wide profiling of different mouse adipose tissues during aging using snRNA-seq

We found the mPRAT adipose undergoes a whitening process which differs from iBAT and iWAT. The whitened adipocytes can still respond to cold exposure, which has cellular and molecular differences compared with iBAT and iWAT. Different mouse adipose depots including brown and white adipose tissue were collected at different ages for comparison. Besides, the depot-specific cold-response was compared.
