The BAMEX 2003 Surface Miscellaneous Composite contains data from several networks (i.e., National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL), Unidata Local Data Manager (LDM) World Meteorological Organization (LDMSFCMETR), National Dta Buoy Center (NDBC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Forecast Systems Laboratory (FSL) Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System (MADIS), North Dakota Roadway Weather Information system (RWIS), Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), Ohio Roadway Weather Information System (RWIS), West Texas Mesonet (WTXMESO), and the Wisconsin Automated Weather Observation Network (WI_AWON)) for the BAMEX 2003 domain and time period. Data from these sources were merged and quality controlled to form this Surface Miscellaneous Composite. These data files are available as ASCII text files and netCDF data files.
