资源简介:
By sharing this dataset, the study group wish to communicate the findings of a project regarding ambiguous sentence processing as approached with eye tracking techniques. Subject-object ambiguity seems to affect various eye-movement parameters, such as reading time, average number of fixations per word, and percentage of regressions. Spontaneously noticing ambiguity in a text appears to intensify the differences among individual readers. In the scope of further elucidating the issue of syntactic awareness and its effects on oculomotor behavior during reading, we would appreciate any comments or replication of our study. The current dadaset includes the measurements of eye-movement experiments from a sample of 44 participants. In specific, it includes a word file with the text items used in the study and a second one with the variables' labels, along with spss files of the final sample of participants and parameters, and two files with the syntax used for the analyses. The dataset will remain temporarily anonymous until the study goes through the process peer review.
