Data and code for: Investigating the potential for N2O-reducing rhizobia inoculants in UK agroecosystems
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the data and analysis code supporting the article "Investigating the potential for N₂O-reducing rhizobia inoculants in UK agroecosystems". Rhizobia were isolated from red clover (Trifolium pratense) grown in soils from five land uses: control arable, one- and five-year herbal leys, conventional grassland and permanent grassland. The isolates' whole genomes were sequenced, assembled, classified with GTDB-Tk (GTDB release 232) and screened for denitrification genes. Soil physicochemical properties, microbial biomass, microbial respiration and potential N₂O fluxes were measured for the same soils and compared across land uses. Genome_Analysis_for_Submission.zip contains the HPC pipeline scripts for read processing, genome assembly, quality control, taxonomic classification, annotation and BLAST-based gene searches, together with the reference query sequences used. Soil_Property_Analysis_for_Submission.zip contains the soil and N₂O data and the R scripts for the statistical analyses, figures and tables. The raw reads and genome assemblies are available in NCBI SRA and GenBank under BioProject PRJNA1527459.
