LINGUOCULTURAL AND METAPHORICAL REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT "ANGER" IN UZBEK, RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

This article investigates the linguocultural and metaphorical representation of the concept of anger in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages. The research focuses on how emotional experiences are conceptualized and verbalized through metaphorical models within different linguistic and cultural systems. Based on the framework of Conceptual Metaphor Theory and linguocultural analysis, the study examines the universal and culture-specific features of anger metaphors in the three languages. The findings reveal that while anger is grounded in universal bodily experiences such as heat, pressure, and explosion, its linguistic realization reflects national cultural values, social norms, and historical traditions. The research contributes to the fields of cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology, and cross-cultural communication.
