This study aims to characterize PVY strains in the potato-growing region of Colorado, the San Luis Valley. A two-year field study was conducted over the 2021 and 2022 growing seasons to identify the incidence and prevalent strains. The use of HTS also allowed our study to expand into metagenomics and virome analysis.
