Reference point for departmental, national and motorway roads (BDPR)

Since 2022, the benchmark data (as well as the benchmark sections) are available and updated annually in the TOPO® comic book at the level of the TRANSPORT theme. The BDPR contains a description of the landmarks located on departmental roads, national roads or motorway infrastructure granted in metropolitan France. This data makes it possible to set up a location system on the road network for the various users of road data. **Following the text of the fields**: **ROAD**: Number of the classified road with which the RP is associated **NUMERO**: RP number specific to the road with which it is associated **ABSCISSE**: Abscissa of the RP (in meters) along the road with which it is associated **COTE**: Side of the road where the RP is located in relation to the meaning of the increasing RP (‘D’: Straight carriageway; ‘G’: Left carriageway; ‘U’: Unique Causeway) **INSEE_DEP**: INSEE code of the department to which the RP belongs **INFORMATION**: **THE DATA GAME IS AVAILABLE IN THREE FORMATS (*.XLSX, *.CSV AND *.GPKG).
