Data from: Biogeography and residence time influence the climatic niche shift of invasive plants in India

Our study tested the niche conservatism hypothesis for 101 invasive alien plant species (IAPS) in India and found that a majority of the species shifted their climatic niches in India. We identified the habitat, duration and biogeographic range where such niche shifts happened. Finally, our study revealed residence time and biogeographic range size of the IAPS as the two most important variables which could influence their climatic niche dynamics in India.This repository contains the data and R scripts used to conduct the analyses.
