The water depth of thalweg along the flow direction in deepwater channel-lobes transition zone. The water depth (equal to two-way-travel time of seafloor multiplied by half of seawater velocity, 750 m/s) of seafloor was extracted from the 3D seismic data (Fig. 2B). Pathways or drainage network of gravity flows along the CLTZ on the seafloor were carved by Global Mapper. Therefore, it could be clearly shown that the characters and evolution of high resolution bedforms (cell is 12.5 m × 25 m) correspond to depositional elements of CLTZs within the leveed channel system.
深水航道 lobes 过渡带沿水流方向的航道中心线水深。海底水深(等于海底双向旅行时间乘以海水速度的一半,即 750 米/秒)由三维地震数据(图 2B)提取。海底上的重力流沿 CLTZ 的路径或排水网络由 Global Mapper 刻画。因此,可以清晰地展示出高分辨率床沙形态(网格尺寸为 12.5 米 × 25 米)的特征及其演化与河道系统内 CLTZ 的沉积要素相对应。
