资源简介:
Otter clam (Lutraria rhynchaena), mainly farmed in the central and northern parts of Vietnam, is one of the most economically important bivalve mollusks of the country. In 2011, otter clam production reached over 1,200 tons, but a swollen-syphon disease has raged through the farms, which resulted in a huge decline in otter clam aquaculture. The identification and extermination of the causative agent of the disease is an urgent issue for the recovery of the aquaculture condition, but the cause of the disease is still elusive. Here, we conducted the metagenome sequences of micro-organisms extracted from the syphon tissue of infected otter clams.
