The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation approach is used to compare the airflow patterns, particle pollutants’ fates, occupants’ comfort and infection risks under six ventilation modes, namely mixing ventilation (MV), stratum ventilation (SV), impinging jet ventilation (IJV), and their respective couplings with personalized ventilation (PV), in an ICU model. To quantify the thermal comfort of patients and HCW, air thermal environment parameters were measured at four key body regions: the forehead, ankle, left and right hand. In order to evaluate the distribution of particles of different sizes, the percentage of particles that reached all the planes out of the total number of particles was calculated. And animations showing the dispersion of small-sized particles in two of the cases were also created. This dataset includes the parameters for calculating the thermal comfort of occupants in CFD cases, as well as the video of the dispersion process of 5μm particles in the IJV and IJV + PV modes.
