资源简介:
Horizontal fields of two-dimensional brightness temperature with 1 Hz temporal resolution were derived from measurements of the
Video airbornE Longwave Observations within siX channels (VELOX) system onboard of HALO during EUREC4A.
VELOX is a thermal imager with a field of view of 35.5° by 28.7° (640 by 512 spatial pixels) and measures brightness temperature
at flight altitude in six spectral bands in the thermal infrared wavelength range from 7.7 to 12.0 µm.
Currently, two channels provide redundant broadband measurements for the full spectral range of VELOX (7.7 to 12.0 µm).
The measurements of one of those two channels are provided with this data publication.
The remaining four channels are narrow-band channels, providing the brightness temperature
measured at 8.65 +/- 0.55 μm, 10.74 +/- 0.39 μm, 11.66 +/-0.81 μm, and 12.00 (+)/-0.50 μm.
