RNA-seq analysis of mRNA of Aspergillus fumigatus A1160P+ and srbA, atrR and AFUB_090280 deletion strains.

Transcriptome of 3 mutant strains of Aspergillus fumigatus generated in the background A1160 pyrG+, delta srbA (AFUB_018340), delta atrR (AFUB_019790) and delta AFUB_090280. Mutant strains show increased azole susceptibility. Strains were grown in 100 mL (500 mL Erlenmeyer flasks) liquid Aspergillus minimal medium for 18 hours at 37 degC with shaking (200 rpm). Mycelia was harvested by filtration before RNA extraction. Paired-end 150-bp read sequencing was performed with the Novaseq X Plus sequencing system.
