Dataset: Historical Slovene Adjectival Forms with the Suffix -ski and Its Variants

Dataset for the article "Phonological Changes at the Morpheme Boundary in Adjectives Derived from Proper Names: An Analysis of Historical Slovene Data / Glasovne premene na morfemski meji pri izlastnoimenskih pridevnikih: analiza slovenskega zgodovinskega gradiva". Adjectival forms with the suffix -ski and its variants, together with the historical Slovene lexicographic sources in which they are attested, as available on the Fran portal.This article investigates sound alternations occurring at the morpheme boundary between the derivational base and the suffix in Slovene adjectives derived from proper names. The analysis focuses on adjectival derivatives with the suffix ‑ski and its variants ‑ški, ‑cki, and ‑čki, as well as ‑iski and ‑iški. The study is based on data from selected Slovene historical dictionaries and lexicographic resources reflecting the linguistic state from the early sixteenth to the late nineteenth century.
