Late Maturity alpha-Amylase winter wheat data from field trials conducted at six locations in Australia

A spreadsheet dataset collection from LMA field trials conducted at six locations across Australia - three sites in Western Australia and one site each in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. The collection includes observed and measured data from the 2021 winter wheat field season. Observed data include weather records from automated stations very near to the trial site or on-site, temperature records from Tinytag TGP-4500, TGU-4017 and TGP- 4014 loggers, Z65 flowering dates and grain sampling harvest dates. Field trial data include laboratory measured grain quality using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) optical density for LMA testing (South Australian Research and Development Institute, PIRSA) and Falling Numbers (Australian Grain Technologies) with BLUP analysis results (Centre for Biometrics and Data Science for Sustainable Primary Industries, University of Wollongong) at plot level, with processed data aggregated to time-of-sowing level. Spreadsheet column name definitions are included in each file. The 2021 dataset had challenges due to the cool and wet conditions during the season and at sample harvest time.
