This dataset was collected or created as part of a study on ancient civilizations, specifically to verify the old topography of the southeastern region of Seoul, South Korea (including Songpa-gu and Gangdong-gu). 1925Contour: Contour lines extracted from the 1925 topographic map (1:50,000). Drillingsurvey_Entire_poits: Subsurface drilling survey data provided by the Geotechnical Information Database System of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources, organized by the author. Drillingsuvery_Selecting_points: A subset of the above data, selecting for the study on Southeast Seoul region. Drillingsurvey_Claylayer: A subset of the above data, showing only the locations of Pleistocene clay deposits. Drillingsurvey_Snadlayer: A subset of the above data, showing only the locations of Pleistocene sand deposits. Land_distibution: Spatial anaysis result of above clay and sand layers. Geological_map: Geological map (1:50,000) provided by the Geotechnical Information Database System of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources. Soilmap_landform: A topographic map (1:25,000) provided by the Korean Soil Information System of the Rural Development Administration.
