U.S. adults potentially eligible for coverage visiting the ACA marketplace 2014

This statistic displays the percentage of U.S. adults without health insurance or have individual coverage that have visited the market place between October 2013 and June 2014. As of October 2013, 17 percent of adults without insurance or with individual coverage visited the marketplace. After the first enrollment period of the Affordable Care Act between October 2013 until March 2014, the share of uninsured working-age adults decreased dramatically. During this time, approximately 14 million citizens chose a private insurance or enrolled in Medicaid.
