U.S. students experiencing cyberbullying 2023

According to a survey conducted in 2023 in the United States, over 77 percent of middle and high school students aged between 13 and 17 years had recently experienced someone posting hurtful comments about them online. Additionally, 70.4 percent of respondents reported someone spreading rumors about them online within the last 30 days.
