Bélanger et al. (2013) Primary production model is applied to MODIS-Aqua daily Level-3 data (http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cms/) from January 2003 to December 2013. Primary productivity was computed from the chlorophyll-a concentration itself computed at Takuvik with the GSM algorithm. Auxiliary data include sea-ice concentration from the SSMI/S series (http://www.nsidc.org) and atmospheric data (i.e., cloud fraction, cloud optical thickness and ozone content) downloaded for the level 1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System at NASA (https://ladsweb.nascom.nasa.gov/).
