Municipal City Water Filter Data

A dataset containing one year of filter data for 16 different dual-media (sand + anthracite coal) filters measured at 5-minute intervals. The goal is to compare filters to each other before and after media replacement. The media within the first three filters (1-3) had been replaced that year, and the remaining 13 filter medias (4-16) had not been replaced. The filters run until they become clogged, measured by increased headloss. Once headloss is high enough, the filters stop running, and a backwash is performed to clean them and remove the solids that accumulated between the sand and coal grains.
