NRS-20809 | Registers of Special Lease Applications [Armidale Lands Office]

This register contains a summary record of all Special Lease Applications in the Land District of Armidale, kept by the Armidale Lands Office.An application for a Special Lease would be submitted to the local Crown Land Agent. Upon receipt of such an application, the Agent would enter the details into this register. Each new application was numbered in consecutive order, beginning at one at the start of each calendar year.The register records information such as the number of the application, the name and address of the applicant, date of application and time of receipt, description of the land, and the purpose for which the land is required. Also a deposit and survey fee, the annual rent and the gazetted number of the lease.
