Temporal alteration of bacterial communities with glucose enrichment in sediment microbial fuel cells

We have applied the non-hydric and hydric soils for single chamber and mediator free of sediment microbial fuel cells. Glucose was used to enrich microorganisms in soils. The voltage and current were recorded and bacterial communities of the fuel cell were profiled using 16S rRNA next generation sequencing.
