This dataset contains concentration and pollution characteristic data of typical persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in the ambient environments of Nantong, Wuxi and Suzhou along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It includes samples from various matrices such as air, soil, sediment and plant specimens. The target compounds are typical POPs including polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). The primary means of generating this dataset is laboratory testing.
