资源简介:
Enteric fever is a severe systemic infection caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi. An epidemiological feature of enteric fever is the formation of chronic carriage of the pathogen after the disease and the importation of the pathogen by residents of countries endemic for enteric fever. Two S. Typhi strains were isolated in 2022 from a 1-year 7-month-old child and the great-grandmother - a chronic carrier of the pathogen who infected her. Three strains were isolated in 2012 in the same region from residents of a country endemic for enteric fever who had lived in the Siberian region for several years. All strains were sensitive to antimicrobial drugs and belonged to one haplogroup 3.1, and ST 2.
