For the analysis of genomic rearrangement between two Aspergillus oryzae strains, RIB40 and RIB326, the genome of RIB326 was sequenced by preparing mate-paired libraries, and de novo assembly was performed using 86,209,971 reads of 50 bps in length. The longest 200 scaffolds that are registered in this project represent 35,425,415 bps or 97.3% of the total length of the entire RIB326 assembly, which is 36,395,679 bps in total.
