LOV photoreceptor regulated the transcriptional profiles in the pathogenic Pseudoalteromonas piscicida X-8 under the white light

Pseudoalteromonas piscicida X-8 (PpX-8) is the etiological agent causing the bleaching disease in the very important farmed seaweed Saccharina japonica. Based on the evidence that LOV photoreceptor of PpX8 (PpX8-LOV) can enhance the virulence of PpX-8 under white light. Using RNA-sequencing and gene knockout methods, how PpX8-LOV regulates the expression virulence-related genes was investigated under white light.
