Water Level and Chemistry characteristic data from Boreal Plain Lakes at URSA, Western Canada

These data were used to compare short- and long-term water level and water budget responses to decadal weather cycles relative to geology and landscape position in Boreal lakes of Western Canada. This dataset includes three excel files, each with three tabs: Readme, Lake_Locations, and either Lake_Water_level_Metrices, Climate_CaMg Conc & Mass, or Lake_Characteristics & Catchment_Characteristics. "Readme" contains descriptions of all column headers and data, and provides units of measurement for each tab. This data was collected monthly to annually during the open water season from 26 lakes at the Utikuma Region Study Area (URSA) in the Boreal Plains of Western Canada from 1999 to 2018.
