资源简介:
We present data for 22 olivine-, plagioclase-, and clinopyroxene-hosted melt inclusions from 3 bulk rock samples from Cleveland volcano. The samples were collected during joint GeoPRISMS-DCO-AVO field campaigns in 2015 and 2016 (PIs: Roman, Plank, Hauri). Melt inclusions were prepared and analyzed using the method described by Rasmussen et al. (2018). Melt inclusions from one sample (16IPE1B) were in a volcanic bomb, which was crushed to release the melt inclusion hosts. The other samples are tephra, and melt inclusion hosts were found as loose grains in the ash size fraction. Met inclusions were doubly polished and analyzed by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and Electron Microprobe Analysis. S and P2O5 were corrected using check standard analyses (see publication for details). The melt inclusions are not corrected for post-entrapment crystallization. For corrected data, refer to the supplementary material for the publication listed below. The objectives of the work are to understand volcanic processes at Cleveland volcano and along-arc geochemical trends in the Aleutians.
