DDFNet-SD: A High-Resolution Global Ocean Subsurface Density Dataset via Dual-task Dense-Former

The DDFNet-SD dataset is a monthly global subsurface ocean density product generated using the Dual-task Dense-Former Network (DDFNet). It spans January 1993 to December 2023, comprising 372 months of data with a horizontal resolution of 0.25° × 0.25°. The dataset covers 27 standard depth levels from the surface to 2000 m. It is provided in NetCDF4 format and includes variables for density (SD), time, depth, longitude, and latitude, with units in kg/m³. The dataset is designed for applications in global and regional ocean density structure analysis, climate variability studies, and model validation.
