Effects of Closed Mouth vs. Exposed Teeth on Facial Expression Processing: An ERP Study

The data includes:<b>Participant details</b>: Participant number, gender, age, and race/ethnicity.<b>Experiment version</b>: Indicates whether the participant completed version 1 or version 2 of the research experiment.<b>File locations</b>: Specifies the folder containing the participant's associated files (.eeg, .vhdr, .vmrk, and results file).<b>Trial data</b>: The subsequent 288 columns list the onset times (determined using a photodiode) for each of the 288 trials in the session.Additional behavioral data, including reaction times (RTs) and the image presented for each trial, can be found in the corresponding results file for each participant. The image names in the results files correspond to the uploaded <code>.jpg</code> files. 8 of the 288 images, for unknown reasons, couldn't be uploaded. They are available upon request.For <b>version 2 of the experiment</b>, the same images as version 1 were used, but they were modified to exclude non-facial features (e.g., hair) and set to a 50% gray background instead of white. Due to constraints on the number of files allowed for upload, these images are not included but can be made available upon request.
