In this study, a combination of magnetic nanoparticle-mediated isolation and single cell image recognition were employed to isolate the potentially functional active Bacillus and to investigate the Bacillus' morphology in three typical long-term fertilization soils, i.e. organic fertilization, mineral fertilization, and unfertilized control.
