Spanish insurance market: value of motor claims paid out 2004-2020

A peak in the value of motor claims paid on the insurance market in Spain was reported in 2009 at over 9.5 billion euros. The total worth of motor insurance claims paid out by the insurers in Spain had decreased to approximately 8.5 billion euros in 2018, recovering from the negative trend showed after 2009.
