Bos taurus Raw sequence reads

Rumen bacterial, archaeal and anaerobic fungal communities of Holstein dairy heifers andcows, in a tropical system of production, were characterized through sequencing the 16srRNA and the ITS genes. In addition, we investigated the relationship between thesecommunities and enteric methane emissions and productive traits, such as digestibledry matter intake, digestible organic matter intake, average body weight, rumen pH, volatile fatty acids and its main components, acetate, propionateand butyrate.
