资源简介:
Cloud cover map obtained by classifying image pixels from a hemispheric optical camera as cloudy or clear and projecting the pixel coordinates into geographical space. The classification follows Wacker et al. (2015). The procedure relies on a number of assumptions, the most important of which is the elevation a.s.l. of the cloud layer. Which elevation has been assumed in the projection is encoded in the file name of each image, which has the form 'YYYYmmddHHMM_elev.tif', where 'elev' is the elevation in m.a.s.l., and in a tag in the GeoTiff image named 'cloud_level'. It is also available as a column labeled 'cloud_level' in the tabular dataset 'cloud cover fraction every 10 minutes'. This dataset is being developed in collaboration between ClimateBasis Disko and the Remote Sensing and Modeling Initiative. See https://anon.erda.au.dk/share_redirect/aiveepToLn/Remote%20Sensing%20and%20Modelling/RemoteSensingProducts/GEMClouds/Cloud%20processing.pdf for a more detailed description of the dataset.
