METHODOLOGICAL OPPORTUNITIES OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING, INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING, AND INTERACTIVE METHODS IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

This article explores the methodological opportunities of problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and interactive teaching methods in mathematics education. The study examines the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of these learner-centered approaches and their role in improving students’ mathematical literacy, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving competencies. Particular attention is given to the integration of active learning strategies into mathematics instruction to enhance students’ engagement, motivation, and independent learning skills.
