RNA sequencing of human airway epithelial cultures from cystic fibrosis (CF) and non-CF donors exposed to tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-17 (TNFa+IL-17) for 48 hours

Gene expression was compared between disease conditions (CF vs. non-CF) and treatments (TNFa+IL-17 vs. control) as well as the interaction between disease and treatment. Overall design: Primary differentiated airway epithelia were treated with TNFa (10ng/ml) and IL-17 (20ng/ml) for 48 hours, prepared for RNA sequencing, and sequenced on Illumina HiSeq 4000 system using 2x150bp paired end SBS chemistry.
