Valerate supplementation modulates gut microbiota and promotes intestinal and bone development in neonatal mice

Fresh stool samples were collected using a metabolic cage in Suzhou Animal Experiment Platform. Fecal DNA was extracted and sequenced by Guangzhou Base Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The V3-V4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene was amplified, and PCR products were verified by agarose gel electrophoresis.
