EBV whole genome sequencing from patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and and healthy controls

This study aims to elucidate the genetic interaction between EBV and the human host in the development of NPC. Through integrating genome-wide data from both EBV and human HLA loci in NPC cases and controls, it seeks to delineate how specific viral-host genetic interactions contribute to NPC susceptibility, helping to explain the geographic endemicity observed in Southern China.
