Using gene expression analysis in combination with genome-wide methylation profiling, we discovered a unique signature pattern that is consistent across the essential thrombocythaemia population regardless of mutation status. Overall design: Infinium Human-Methylation 850K array on a total of 32 patient samples with essential thrombocythemia and 2 healthy controls.
